April 16th, 2002: Kelvin Cato Kenny Thomas Dan Langhi that's a hall of fame frontcourt, right there...
don't forget that the frontcourt of Collier, Langhi, and TMo once stood on the court together (actually a few times). awe inspiring stuff.
Originally posted by Deckard I really thought that the Finals against the Celtics would be the first of many for that team. Who could have guessed how things would turn out? You just never know. That playoff run was amazing... glad I could see it. My vote is for Dream, OT, and Robert. My heart is for Dream, Ralph, and McCray. Perfectly put! Ditto for me. Ralph was probably more talented overall, with the blocks, running the floor, etc., but he often looked lost on the floor, too. I think Thorpe could have picked Ralph up and dunked him. Horry-McCray, excellent matchup, but I'll give the nod to Horry for his better outside shooting and 3" height advantage. And the '94 Hakeem would have outsmarted the '86 Hakeem and gotten him thrown out of the game for fighting. P.S. an apropos comment from Robert Horry ... the other day a reporter asked him to compare the 02 Lakers to the 95 Rockets and he went through the players, Shaq vs. Hakeem, etc., and finally said, "And then there's the Horry-Horry matchup. I'll have to go with me on that one."
