At least he sorta/kinda/maybe admitted that it was a bad move to leave Houston to try and be more than he was (22:46).

solid interview imo. A lot of good stuff, plenty of funny content

The Dan Fegan stuff with Dwight gives folks an idea what kind of pull big time agents have

The man made 145 million dollars in the NBA. He didn't make ANY mistakes... Dallas and Memphis did.

For sure but--and I might be off with my old age--Morey was prepared to match and bring back Parsons but Chandler didn't give Daryl enough time to match because they were still waiting on Bosh to make his decision between Houston/Miami. When that happened Morey went to plan B and signed Ariza instead.

Still the greatest heist in NBA history. Agreed.

that may be part of it but I thought it was Cuban who put in all the details (player option, no trade clause etc) in the contract as CP mentioned, where it didn't make sense for Hou to match anyway

Plan B for Ariza just happened to take place naturally when everything unfolded

Fortunately for us it didn't happen because Bosh missed a lot of that 2014/2015 season and then retired early due to a blood clot. On paper, a team of

    Howard
    Bosh
    Ariza
    Harden
    Beverley

Could have definitely beaten Golden State. As much as I appreciate his heroics against the Clippers in that epic comeback, we were relying a bit too much on Josh Smith that postseason. A healthy Bosh would have put us on top against the Warriors and we would have waxed Cleveland in the Finals.

Haha... Cuban here is like "I played Houston so hard! Chandler is mine, Tonians!"
Parsons is like "You played who? Yourself, the answer is yourself."

The best way to get your money's worth on Chandler Parsons is to pay him double.

It's amazing because if Memphis wouldn't have paid him Portland would have. Crazy times.
