Nah. Morey is 100% free to say whatever he wants to say. China’s free to ban Rox games too. tit for tat
Who are you guys “us”? You can’t call yourself representing Rockets organization since Rockets have already officially claim that your political view is not supported. You are not representing Rockets fans also, since Rockets fans in China do not hate Rockets fan in US and your “us” are “being hated” according to yo Are you dm himself? Neither Rockets or Rockets fans. Then who are you “us”? As a Rockets fan myself, I don’t like be represented by your guys called us. You can say for yourself though.
I don’t think he should be fired but I think he needs to apologize. I don’t think anyone should be fired in America for saying what they want to say. But when you unwittingly support violence you might want to apologize quickly.
That's a false equivalency my friend, not only that, the Chinese government exposed it more by throwing this fit. Chinese government could have said nothing and it would have been business as usual.
It’s not false equivalency. Racist statements are demeaning, offensive, and wrong. What Morey tweeted was all of the above, plus it encourages violence and murders. (Referring to the Taiwanese murderer that HK rioters is protecting)
Were your ity bity feelings hurt? Want an apology to make your hurt feelings get better? I have a suggestion for your sensitive soul. Stay off internet. Internet is inherently about freedom of information and opinion. The fact that you can't handle criticism is on you and your country. Civil disobedience (and violence) is how society sometimes moves forward. Remember cultural revolution? Did you forget violence that happened then? Or maybe no one can speak of it in China? F*ck CCP and your anniversary.
Yes it is a false equivalency. He never said/nor implied any of that though. This is the Chinese government being super controlling.

I do have an argument. Claiming that the support of Hong Kong means you're supporting violence while neglecting the fact that there's a huge ongoing human rights crisis taking place in China where a million or so people are being held against their will in camps and being abused and tortured. That's just some clown behavior imo.
The reason the Rockets have been relevant is because of their relationship with China over the years and the Chinese following. Their fans won’t quit all of a sudden. Not all Chinese are pro Chinese/nationalists like before. That’s mostly the Party which is a very small percentage of people. Powerful but small. This will blow over. There’s too much money at stake. They would have to retrain a whole generation of rockets fans.
