At some point the value contract thing just has to be put to the side. Championship teams spend.

Yes and if Tilman is really about it, then we need to get Porter here as soon as possible.

Agreed. Otto Porter is overpaid, this is true. He's an elite role player paid like more than that (though notable not like a current max player.)

So what. He's better than Ariza. His shooting is so significantly better than any of the wing players we've had that it's astonishing to see him compared to some of them. We're talking JJ Reddick shooting stats in a 6'8 defensively versatile frame. No he's not all defense. He's a good defender, a smart player that can switch and has Ariza's height and wingspan.

I'd rather have him at $10 million but I'd rather have $100 million in my bank account as well.

I wouldn't give up Ennis. I would give up Vince Edwards or someone else who is on the fringe. Ennis can play.

Also, if the Rockets can't get Porter for whatever reason but can deal Knight and Chriss + a pick for Korver and JR Smith I'm here for that as well. That's basically trading a terrible contract and a useless player for two guys who can get minutes here and hit shots.

Washington is in the tax, losing money, and is a lottery team. They have to get out of the tax and only one team has cap space to take on salary outright. Washington will have to give up assets to move under the cap.....maybe possibly two future picks. But at least one pick and at least one player on a rookie contract that could be considered an asset.

    4-team trade
Cavaliers in: Brandon Knight, Marquese Chriss + HOU 1st round pick
    Rockets in: Otto Porter Jr.
Suns in: George Hill + WAS 2nd round pick
    Wizards in: Trevor Ariza, NenĂª

Ariza can't be traded until Dec 15th; CLE & WAS could maintain their open roster spots until Dec 15th.

I would LOVE to have Otto Porter, but Jesus Christ man our payroll would be massive.

CP3, Harden & Otto alone is at 90 million... And then you have Clint, PJ and Gordon at 36 million.

Yeesh Tilly Till... Sell dem burgers brah...

Knight needs 2 firsts with him.
Cavs can get a better player than knight.

Could've been persuaded to give up EG for Butler, but not for Otto Porter.

Washington has ruined their leverage. If money saving is what they want & need, we aren't obliged to overplay our hand.

Plus any moves we make need to be to build our bench deeper more than laterally.
