Sure glad we landed Ime Udoka as our coach!! Could've been worse.... Feel free to add your could've been worse scenario as we move into phase 2 of our Pre- Dynasty era ... Go Rockets!!! ....... ....... .......
We could've traded for Ben Simmons in the Harden trade then followed that up with marginal "win now" moves that would've eventually led to a full tear down while owing our picks to OKC. We also could've signed Harden this offseason just to watch him take away valuable reps from our young guys while also making them completely dependent on having someone create for them
Rockets could have gotten a lower pick in 2021 and ended up with Kuminga. Edit: I'm probably wrong based on the pick swap but I don't remember the details. Anyway, I'll take Green.
They could have hired me,and I would bring back Rafer and his teardrop. But I would have also brought back DMO so we could win it all. Only my psychic knows for sure.
Beat me to it......in other news Wolves are using him as an SG at least he is listed as that. Christian Wood.
Rockets were able to unload a certain individual BEFORE the season starts.... IT COULD'VE BEEN WORSE!! Go Rockets!!! ....... ....... .......
I dunno signing Harden might have been the smart thing to do. Harden has taught Maxey how to be a star. He really doesnt get credit for the good things he does. Imagine Amen learning how to pass from Harden. Kids take leaps when they learn from superstars.
Amen already knows how the pass. What he needs to learn is shooting and most experience in the NBA game.
Harden couldn't care less about teaching these young kids. He wants to hoop, get paid, have fun, then blame everyone else when things go bad when in reality his play style makes everything on the team revolve around what he does. which at this stage of his career will hurt the the development of the young guys
Is there any evidence of Harden mentoring anyone besides Danuel House and Bobby Brown? Our guys can still watch tape of Harden. For the sake of thread: Could be worse, we could have a star player holding out.
