touche' however, it really doesn't matter in a mayoral race. Mayors are all about managing. You know how conservatives like to choose the candidate with business acumen. Well I think that's ridiculous in most cases, but in mayoral races I think that actually applies. Mayoral offices are about management, everything else is pretty much about legislation. When it comes to legislation, yes political philosophy is a huge factor. Secondly, I don't think anyone should assume because Anisse is gay that she's a liberal on most issues. plenty of gay conservatives.
That's right. But she has been forthright about here stands on the issues, and she does happen to be a lefty.
For mayor, I'd vote Limbaugh since he'd have the brains to accomplish something, even if he'd be an ass while doing it. For a national seat, I'd vote Palin, counting on her to be unable to get anything she wanted done. I certainly wouldn't stay home.
It's not how I view it. But I would say the average voter is quite uneducated when it comes to what each candidate really stands for, yet most know Parker is gay and that Locke is black. Brown was banking on getting a lot of the conservative vote and Roy's showing bit him in the butt....
