Yay! A fun excursion from this horrible defeat. The Aggies signed Turgeon, he is a great coach. I give him 3-4 years in College Station before he takes Bill Self's job in Kansas. But he is no Billy Clyde...

One of his biggest assets was his Texas recruiting connections, people think that will fade in Kentucky. I think its still a huge asset, look for him to land plenty of Texas kids for years to come. Gillespie will do 1 of 2 things. Be at Kentucky for the next 15-20 years with 2-3 national championships or coaching in the NBA.

Wow thanks for the info. ive heard that recruiting was one of the main reasons tubby got fired...i must agree that he wasnt bringing in the star recruits a program like kentucky should bring in. Sounds like Kentcuky found a pretty good coach- glad MSU only plays em once a year!
