DJ Trump may well be only the third president impeached and has a shot at being the first removed. Surely he must see the walls closing in and the potential for removal, prosecution and, worst of all for a first-class narcissist, humiliation. He was so thickheaded he didn’t even realize what was incriminating. He was so foolish as to take advice from the equally unhinged Giuliani. There is little doubt he will be regarded as one of the worst if not the worst president in history. As that rolls around in his weary brain, he is likely to become more self-destructive, antagonistic and downright crazy. All of that makes it that much easier for Republicans to abandon him.
I wonder if he'll resign if Pence guarantees a pardon for his multiple Federal sins. It's Pence's only shot at ever being president, even if only for a little while. More likely is trump battling his demons, hanging on to the office until he goes down, bringing numerous people down with him. A lot of administration guys and dolls will go down regardless, in my opinion. Would Pence pardon them?
That would be sweet revenge for the guy. He’s been treated with distain by trump often enough, some of it deserved, but he doesn’t think so, of course. I would laugh and laugh. None of this is really funny, so you have to enjoy what humor presents itself.
Entirely unrelated, my neighbor has (had?) a "Joe Walsh for President!" sticker on his old Toyota truck, from the previous owner. It meant Eagles/"My Mazerati goes 185" Joe Walsh, who I guess launched a joke presidential campaign back in 1980. I think he took the sticker off - I have to check. .
Could you imagine what little integrity kellyanne has when her boss says something like this about her husband?
Or they could be playing both sides of the GOP the MAGA side and the never Trumper side at the same time. You never know what they really believe in their heart, for all we know, KellyAnne could be part of the deep state underground.
I've wondered that about Kellyanne the Crypt-keeper, but she's served a lot of Jim Jones (er, Donald Trump) Kool-Aid these past three or four years.

Obama: "That's right!" (tears off bra and fake boobs) "And I woulda got away with it, too, if it hadn't been for your meddling kids!" Don Jr: "I knew it! I need to get a sequel ghost-written, quick! I'll call it 'THE DEEPEST STATE'!"
