    Yeah, I never read Ebert's reviews beforehand because he spoils every movie without a spoiler warning. Only once in a while does he post a spoiler alert.

    I thought it was ok but i dont think its as good as you guys are saying. I was really drunk when i went though, and was with a girl i liked a lot (shes hot to). So maybe i wasnt paying as much attention as needed. :D

    Yes. While we are at it, there is another all time classic by Kurosawa, the Seven Samurais, that's worthy of checking out.

    Now we'll be getting into Debate and Discussion tomorrow! I didn't think *that* highly of Last Samurai, but have yet to see ROTK.

    I saw it today with a packed Christmas crowd. The great thing about seeing it a few weeks after its release was that there were no punks with cell phones in the theatre.

    I enjoyed the movie and thought it was great from start to finish.
