A trans teen was beaten by 3 of their peers in the bathroom. Nex could not stand or walk after the beating, Although a teacher broke up the beating, the school refused to call an ambulance. Nex died in the hospital the next day. The Police say they don't know if the beating contributed to the death yet. The school had recently been targeted by LibsOfTikTok for another event & the States Superintendent of schools has repeatedly made anti-trans statements. After the death, the states superintendent of schools Ryan Walters released a video ranting about how upset he was...that Trump was listed as one of the worst Presidents in history, and Oklahoma history classes will teach "the truth". He hasn't addressed the death. "I think complications from brain trauma, head trauma, is what caused it. I know at one point, one of the girls was pretty much repeatedly beating [her] head across the floor." My goodness. SO! 1. IT was three girls? 2. No ambulance called? 3. No COPS CALLED??? If 3 people jump someone in an alley behind a bar the news does not call it a "fight" so why the **** are they doing it here?
I would like to see the toxicology report. The medical examiner in Oklahoma declaring it a suicide means very little to me. That is just his opinion, it isn’t a fact. If the toxicology shows low levels of Benadryl and her depression medication - then I would like to hear how the medical examiner justifies their finding. I have no idea if this person committed suicide or not - but I do know that the medical examiner releasing their finding without releasing the toxicology report is questionable at a minimum. The whole situation is sad.
This tweet is false - that tape is not “moments” after the fight. The fight was at 1pm, as shown in earlier tape and substantiated by statements of the PD… the tape of her walking was well over an hour after the fight had ended, as shown by the clock showing it being after 2 pm. I am seeing a lot of misinformation and exaggeration from both sides on this issue.
