Guys, don't know how we didn't think about it before but it must happen and it depends on us to push it up the chain. I found the most fitting nickname for Harden. If Kobe is the Mamba, Harden must be named 'The Cobra'. The way he sits on the 3 point line, drible drible, crossover, hypnotizing the enemy until he spots a break on the enemy's defence and immediately spits his venum in attack. His game is the Cobra move! How we did not see it before?? How come no other player was named that? It's the coolest nickname ever!! Let's put this on the history books as James 'The Cobra' Harden
Never fell for this one. Don't really get nicknames that describes body hair... The Beard, the Brow... blah A good nickname should describe someone's game, not appearance. The Dream, the Glyde, Mamba. The Beard is just lazy and don't do him justice. The Cobra is his game. Cobra mentality
Great analogy i think he's definitely a cobra but i hope they don't mock him again like they do to Durant with "snake" nickname
I like what Kevin Harlan said on the air last night after the game winner he called him the The Flamethrower
“Dr. Beard” Because the way James Harden continues to do his job and prove everyone wrong despite haters always trying to say something negative about his work, kinda like a Doctor... in the hospital, doing surgeries daily and having wins and losses all the time, while sometimes taking people’s souls as well in the process, but no matter the hardship, no matter the negativity in the work environment if a surgery didn’t go as planned, or if the treatment plan didn’t go as planned, the Doctor continues to do his job, teaches the naysayers that you shouldn’t ever give up on your craft, on your love for the work that you do, because you’re a Doctor for a reason, to teach, to execute, to save, and to make everyone believe no matter what happens. This is why James Harden should be James “Dr. Beard” Harden forever. He is truly a Doctor in his own class...
I propose calling him the Japanese Serow: It's bearded, and it's a GOAT. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_serow
