And, if my memory serves me correctly, he hit more last second 3 pt shots than Brooks ever has. Brooks is the more skilled player, but Luther Head could hit a shot in the last 5 seconds ofa game.
actually you know who was pretty clutch? rafer not talking free throws but he hit a lot of big 3s for this team battier's been pretty clutch as well
The same playoffs of which, if the season ended today, we would not be eligible to be in because of our lack of clutch.
We've lost 3 or 4 games this season because we couldn't make a lost second shot and choked. 3 or 4 games is enough for us to be in the 8th seed. Either there is a need for clutch on this team, or there isn't. I believe there is.
The same Luther Head who disappeared every time the playoffs rolled around? The same Luther Head who was a turnover waiting to happen everytime he started dribbling the ball? Obviously I disagree
Hey, I'm not saying the guy is a savior by any means. I'm just saying he was one of the most clutch players we had in the last minute of a game. I do agree he sucked in playoff time.
I think the problem isn't as much that we don't have clutch shooters, it's the fact that Adelman calls the same fooking play at the end of every game...the Aaron Brooks isolation at the top of the key. Hey, Rick...love you, but how about running an actual play instead that isn't 100% predictable? Also, it works maybe 10% of the time
