Not saying there weren't dissenters from the mob or that the Astros 1B didn't hit well in a small sample sizes in the postseason the past 2 years. I expect Abreu is going to have some hot stretches. I just am not expecting him to be 100% a vast majority of the time. I'll be happy if he does, but I would have rather had a better backup option than Singleton. I'd be fine if the Astros would play DIaz at 1B on his catching off days.
