The most notable news was that Netflix's "House of Cards" marks the first series released exclusively online to score nominations in the major categories. "Game of Thrones," "Breaking Bad," "Homeland," "Downton Abbey," "Mad Men," and "The Good Wife" dominated the drama categories. "30 Rock," "Louie," "Modern Family," "Veep," "Girls," and "The Big Bang Theory" scored numerous nominations for comedy. aaron paul should win the emmy hands down just for his reaction in s05e02 to finding the ricin cigarette in the roomba.
Breaking bad should win best writing for "dead freight" that episode was amazing. I'm expecting Homeland to clean house again like last year.
That show is so bad it doesn't deserve to win anything. I wouldn't mind House of Cards or Mad Men winning because they are really good, but BB deserves it.
I tried watching, but couldn't get into it. Anyone here who likes Homeland tell me why people like it so much?
Good to see GoT get some love. It won't win Best Drama Series but I'll be rooting for it. Diana Rigg has a good shot at winning. Emilia Clarke's nomination? Mmh, I'm not gonna hate on her. Good for the show to get recognition. But Michelle Fairley got shafted.

The walking dead has terribly acting and a ton of plot holes on a regular basis. I watch it because it has zombies but its nowhere near the quality of anything that was nominated
"Breaking Bad" shouldn't win for this long ass delay in showing the final episodes. I can barely remember the plotline at this point.
Spoiler Cancer stricken high school chemistry teacher makes meth. gets a sidekick. Brother in law on police force. Wife does stuff to occasionally advance the plot. Hires Saul. Kills Chicken man. Some guys after him. has an annoying son. Chemistry teacher becomes sidekick while sidekick becomes chemistry teacher. Brother in law finally figures things out. Trouble ensues.
'Modern Family' again? Ugh. Excited to see that Bobby Cannavale got a nomination for Boardwalk. Gyp Rosetti was a badass.
