If Kidd watches any of the game tape of the defense Kirk was putting on Wade, Wade won't be returning to any form. He'll be exposed for the fraud he is. non jump shot having, pump faking guy who is an excellent driver and adequate passer.
Bearing in mind KIdd is a good defender...

I would see a Nets in 6. VC is amazing this year. He played very well every time against the Heat. Is Shaq going to come out and guard Krstic? If not, he will make them pay, if yes, VC and RJ will have a field day driving in. Remember that JC is the best defender/flopper in the league:)

The Heat looked bored in the first round and didn't really start playing until game 5 and just turned it on from there. Kidd is way too slow to keep up with Wade. They'll probably stick Jefferson or Carter on him. If Zo can play with the energy he displayed before the injury, the Heat will win this in 6.

    HEAT CHATTER

Word is the pickup of Derek Anderson will be more costly than Miami hoped. Before acquiring him, the Heat tried to get Anderson to waive his $2.5 million player option for 2006-07, but Anderson declined. He's likely to exercise that option, meaning Micky Arison likely will need to relent to paying a luxury tax for Miami to use its $5 million cap exception. . . .

    Second Round

    Dallas over SA in 7
    Phoenix over LAC in 6
    Cleveland over Detroit in 7
    Miami over NJ in 6

yeh, i'm going with my heart...i don't necessarily "think" that Cleveland will win, but i'm gonna go with them nonetheless. the rest i do consider probable/highly possible.

Yeah, I agree with this, the fact that Hinrich didn't go for his fakes helped a lot, but his quickness was really important. I'm thinking 6 games max for the Heat, mostly because of a healthy, some times motivated Shaq.

    In the other series...

San Antonio in 6, Tim Duncan was holding back during the regular season, and Dirk needs a Paul Pierce next to him.

Clippers in 6, too deep for the Suns, but they have to win it in 6, I don't like their chances in a game 7 in Phoenix.

Pistons in 5, they don't look like they want to screw around with this team, but Lebron can make this competitive if he plays like Magic.
