Time to call it a career. I don't think he really has much more to accomplish in the NBA but it's a tough way to end it.

Always sad to see a great struggle with injuries like this at the end of a career. Hopefully he isn't done.

Oh, please. Like anyone still talks about how the 2015 Warriors faced a bunch of injury-riddled teams en route to the title? If the Rockets defeat a short-handed Spurs squad, so be it. We don't need to apologize.

If he's done, the NBA fan in me was happy to see him go out with a throwback performance.

    18pts, 8-13 and 2-2 from 3. Solid stuff

    ------

Also, please lord don't let this facilitate a CP3 signing...

I hope he is ok. If not for this series but going forward.
He has been a competitor and a rival.
I don't want to win like this. . . . not like this...

He comes back. Mark it. I am not sure if he can reproduce his 16 and 8 but he will be back. He has still some years in him.

he should pull a Mariano Rivera and come back for at least one more victory lap season.

Proud to see such a classy thread on CF. We're still a little better than the rest when it comes to stuff like this, and I hope we can stay that way.

If this is the end, he had a hall of fame career.

The Spurs NOT trading for Jason Kidd was the best non trade ever for them.

Quad tear.. Explains why he was pointing at the top of the knee and holding the side too... I didn't think it was forceful enough for that.. Tough break for SA.. But I hope it didn't just inspire them to "do it for TP"

Besides his one game a series where he turns it back and plays like last night he is too slow to defend, too slow to keep up with our pace. He knows the system and that's great but he hasn't been efficient all year. He is over the hill.

Patty mills has been the more efficient player all year and significantly better from 3pt range while being a comparable distributor. He's also the better defender and more fiesty, albeit they both aren't good.

Thought the same. Guess it was one of those 'father time' things. When is LeBron's reckoning gonna happen......

Probably the way the foot got caught on the floor, looked straight on the toes and not the side of the foot, which is usually what happens.

Patty Mills is definitely consistently more dangerous than Parker....

But Mills is also a player you can completely take out of the game. When Parker is having his flashback games (which some years, is always in a game the Spurs NEED to win coincidently enough) he really can't be stopped and looks like a top 5 PG all of a sudden and it comes out of nowhere.

Also, the Spurs don't have a backup PG now so that will be interesting.

If Beverly can make the game difficult to Westbrook, he can and will frustrate Mills. Maybe even take him completely out of games. I ain't scared.

As for Parker, you have to believe that he's done. He's a hall of fame player, that much is certain.
