that's true breh. i was also half looking. i don't have the stomach for injuries. but like @tycoonchip breh mentioned, the show must go on. we have to capitalize. nobody took mercy on us when yao and mergady broke down.
This feels like when Kobe tore his achilles, as if we just saw a HOF player be at a high level for the very last time
So sad. I hope this is not the end of his career. I've got a lot of respect for the spurs and Parker.
Beverley is a beast at defending other superstar PGs. Pretty soon no one will want to be guarded by Wolverine!
It was just a bad landing.. Likely caused by how his body was twisted as he was trying to focus on the shot, changed the landing enough where the left leg didn't plant correctly and took the knee out. Technically no contact, but not what's usually called non contact when something just gives out under normal conditions.. Like with Arian Foster's achilles. The leg that buckled sideways wasn't the landing leg.
Gotta admit I was relieved there was no contact from Bev on that play. He would have gotten a bad reputation if there was.
Pop selling his ass to the devil for that win really paid the price didn't he manipulating refs? Lamarcus, now TP, who next? Kawahi? Can't escape karma. That s*@t just snapped. No movement, at all. Yea i said it.
The good news for the Spurs is that Parker is nowhere near as important to them as Yao and McGrady were to us... Patty Mills killed us after Parker went down. Still sad to see him go down like that. That may have been the last game of his career.
These ACL/MCL tears happen on an absurd level of randomness, had relatives that tore theirs while simply walking down stairs or leaving their car.
