ROck2k you're right. The NO recievers are not afraid to catch the passes so they arent dropping any like our guys having when worring about the hit. There is no hit until after the NO recievers begin to run after the catch.
INTERCEPTION!!!! Texans are starting to look like the Texans. Saints own this game, they have been since the halftime break.
a mixup with the receiver, he was supposed to go long, and he stopped at around 15 yards.. sh*t....interception......game over...
Man, that was just thrown up there for anyone to catch.... Looks like they just gave up. Now I'm just hoping the Cowboys lose tomorrow too...
Well this game is over...and an L in the column. Tune into FSSW!! Astros are going for the sweep of Cards! 4-1 Astros, bottom of the 8th.
Is anyone watching the Balitmore/Cleveland game?? Jamal Lewis has broke the NFL record and is at 297 yards currently....and running!
Well the texans played the 1st half akin to the game they played last week. Then they stunk it up and lost their composure in the 2nd half. Mack couldn't get much going.
Carr was holding onto the ball a lot longer than last week also, can't blame it all on the line. Gotta give some credit to the Saints D though, they were the reason he was holding onto the ball. Dominic Davis needs more carries...he has shown a lot more than Mack in two weeks. At this point it looks like Mack is nothing but a short yardage back. And why hasn't Moses been returning kicks as well as punts? They finally put him back there and look what happened.
I'll say this much. It looks like we are going to have to wait another week to see which O line we really have. Was the second half a fluke? or was the previous 6 quarters a fluke? I'll bet Carr is dying to know the answer to that as well... poor guy...took 5 sacks, and 3 others that would have been if he hadnt got the ball off in time. Suck it up line...get your sh*t together before our QB gets injured.
I'm pretty sure Moses was returning kicks and punts for most of today's game and almost all of the Dolphins game...and he stunk it up. Sometimes it wasn't his fault, but other times he made some very poor decisions. I like putting Davis out there. With his strong legs, if he can break one or two tackles, he might could break loose on a long run, which Moses doesn't seem to be able to do. He is not weak by any means, but with his size he can't absorb any contact at all.
exactly was what I was thinking,, 1st half they looked like they did last week, 2nd half, O-line collapses and the result is the blow out, our success rises and falls with how the o-line plays.. there was one play, where Carr got sandwiched, where not a single one of the o-line guys blocked their guy, all 4 beat thewir blocks....pathetic and oh yeah, Matt Stevens is a JOKE,, missed tackles, blown coverage..that TD to Cornwell was his fault, he had his head up his ass...
Well, poo-doo. At least we'll be .500 and Dallas will be 0-2 after tomorrow night... My picks in fantasy stunk this week... Carr at QB, and I could've started Brady (NE) he's rockin' Philly. The irony is my other QB is McNabb. And Brown was my K today... Glad it's a free yahoo league. Go get those Chiefs next week boys... Huge upsets seem to suit us better anyway. Hey, OL... BLOCK, WILL YA'??? Week 2: HOU 1-1 ; DAL 0-2 -my (half) prediction BTW- Miami stomped on NYJ today...
The Texans are starting to many of their drives with an 1st and 15, the offense is not good enough to over come that. Stupid pelanties are killing their drives before they even start. Hopefully these will go away once they start playing games at reliant if not its going to be a long season for our offense.
I'm hoping for more aggressive play calling on the offensive side of the ball. I may be in the minority, but giving the ball to Mack just wasn't working too well, especially because most of them were basic up the middle or draws. I think there should be more sweeps and tosses, as well as more passing on first down. Carr shouldn't be forced to try and make things happen on 3rd and long.
