#Texans wanted to interview Eagles Joe Douglas but were denied. Now Douglas is interviewing for the Jets GM opening. Wonder if the Texans hurry up and try again. — patrick (@PatDStat) June 7, 2019 There is one thing I was told when Cal McNair took over. McNair has little patience for mistakes and more willing to cut bait when things are not right. #Texans — patrick (@PatDStat) June 7, 2019
The timing is indeed curious. Did Gaines' picks look so questionable during OTAs that McNair had no choice but to dump him right away? Anyway suspect BoB has a REAL short leash now going into the season.......
Maybe Cal and Gaine just don't get along. Who knows. Something else has happened because you don't fire someone this quickly.
Holy crap! How stupid can someone be. I mean everyone knows today you can't get away with that sort of thing anymore.
So we don't fire O'Brien, we fire Gaine. What's next, we make O'Brien the GM???? ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff
This mediocre franchise never cease to surprise me. BOB apparently needed someone that looks competent fall guy to protect himself. I knew it was stupid to hire in house without even making the due diligence to interview outside candidates.
But but but, I thought we were "congruent" or "copasetic" or "in full alignment" or whatever BS term for a fully working franchise....
