Mason has been averaging over 1000 yards per season for the last 11 seasons. Mr. Consistency.

Maybe Warner blatantly insulting Jacoby's play finally opened his eyes.

Stop that! Moss and TO are not good kids and do not battlefight! Mason is a good kid, who had a minor dust-up in New York. Think he's gonna come here and fight hard, and hopefully help us in some capacity.

Just saw this on the Jets forum.

    TheJetsStreamManish Mehta
Rex Ryan on Derrick Mason yesterday: "Derrick’s going to still be a part of what we do." Tonight, he's traded. #nyj

He's old, but he can still run a few routes and catch some passes. Something Jacoby Jones clearly cannot do.

In other news, Anna Megan Raley continues to be a joke of a sports reporter.

    We've always had a good #2

I'd expect #Texans to IR Mario & sign Nading off P-squad. Waive D Anderson to open spot for Mason. Both newbies active for Balt #mytwocents

Walter is a good #3 and will shine from time to time but he can just as easily disappear. Hell of a catch but if he hadn't made a "play of the year" type catch...his stats aren't as pretty.

Raley is easy on the eyes but that's about it.

I always thought Walter was a legit #2. If I'm not mistaken, he had Routt on him the entire game. Routt is notorious for pass interference. I don't know why they didn't target Walter more often or even Daniels for that matter.

Didn't you hear? Apparently because Matt Schaub is worse than David Carr. At least that's what I've heard on the radio all week.

    B. Johnson's hamstring issue is serious. Mason was brought in full-time because he is a true slotty from what I understand. JJ got demoted to return jockey (hopefully).

If we were going old I might have preferred Driver If he isn't injured.

Nading was a surprising cut. He had a pretty decent pre-season. Interesting moves by the Texans, but very exciting nonetheless.

    RavensInsider Aaron Wilson
Derrick Mason had been replaced in three receiver sets by rookie Jeremy Kerley and reportedly was complaining about his role.

Not a shocker that Derrick Mason was complaining in New York about his role. Par for the course.

Two possession receivers starting at WR with sub 4.9 speed is a nice start to entering the Andrew Luck sweepstakes..Still a ways to go but a nice start nonetheless....Theres a method to the madness people!!!..
