    That's true, but it is one less thing to value (and hence fight for) in the overall equation.

    Yes that's true but at the core of those people who think they are killing in the name of religion is the idea that they will be rewarded for it or that they will get a pat on the back from God.

    I'm just toying with this idea honestly, I don't have a solid point here. I'm just thinking:

    A guy who thinks there's life + life after death vs a guy who thinks there's just life... For one guy, life is less than 1% of his equation. For the other, it's 100%. If all else is equal, which one considers his/her life more valuable?
