the white vince young. plays like dookie for 95% of the game, then does something at the very end and everybody thinks he's god.
Kordell Stewart HAS a National Championship. Get in on the FAIL column, bub. I'm not saying one is better than the other, I'm not EITHER/OR. I'm not a "jock rider". Both of them can suck it. I was saying Kordell has SOME room to talk.
All you Tim Tebow guys didn't go to church enough this Sunday. Instead, you sinned, and played your stupid fantasy football, so he couldn't win the game for you.
Sporano should have never let it come to that. Who goes for two when they score a TD while pitching a shut out????
Nothing wrong with that. With only 6 minutes to go, Denver isn't likely to score more than twice. And Denver is going to need 2 TDs anyway, so it makes sense to try to get to 14 - 13 is no better than 12. And he was *right* - Denver DID score 2 TD's. He just didn't expect he'd also get a Field goal in there too. But even so, all it meant was that Denver would have gone for 2 on the first TD - they got the other one, and draw-to-Tebow seems like a pretty effective 2pt conversion play, so the result may have been the same. As it turns out, if Miami had gotten their conversion, Denver would have needed a 3rd score. So even knowing about the FG, it's not a bad play; if you miss, Denver needs only one 2-pt conversion instead of two. If you get it, Denver needs another score entirely.
Oh nevermind - I thought the TD was in the middle of the 4th Quarter, rather than the beginning. I still think it was the smart play given that Denver hadn't scored all game, so them scoring 3 times was unlikely (meaning 13 is no better than 12). But it's a little more of a gamble at that point since there's more time.
