Why not? The comparison is spot on -- the white klan and the black klan, opposite sides of the same coin, both wedded to racism as their only reason for existence. If racism dies, both organizations die.

 

You don't know what the NAACP is about. Their organization is not built around racism, no matter what this tunnel visioned lady said. She is not the whole organization.

The KKK has stated objectives that are racist. The NAACP does not.

Actually, you are right. There is no need for any group to combat racism anymore. Once upon a time, this certainly was not true. Groups like the NAACP inspired laws changed an historic wrong. However, like the EEOC, their time has passed, and, IMO, they now do more harm than good.

That is my assertion because now, for example, if someone disagrees with Obama's policies, he or she is automatically tagged a racist. Racism is trotted out for advantage on a daily basis, so much so that the tactic has now evolved into reverse racism.

The NAACP pushes racism as a sacred cow. Like the KKK, they are committed to keeping racism alive to generate funding. Like sex, hate sells. It's time to end the hating.
