This was 6 years ago. So I don't know if we'll see John do this type of stuff on the court. But he got the calls from the refs, he got the crowd engaged because the game meant a lot to everyone not just him.

Takeaway about John on this game: when he's in his bag like he was here, it's really difficult to guard him as he gets closer to the rim. The guy explodes off the ground, and you don't know if the step he took last is the jump or not. Also had a crazy circus shot using his left hand in reverse. Big baby Davis was scared to touch him because the refs were all over this too.
