I still love his grit and wish him the best in the future.

I don't think they will move him to the bench since teams hate giving players visible demotions before trading them.

He was definitely on the trading block this past trade deadline. I'm really not mad we didn't trade him for Coby White so its whatever, we would have had to overpay for him too and then he would have eaten into Reed's minutes who I think is definitely a core player for us moving forward. Maybe there is a team desperate for a young 3 and D wing that might give us more than that but yeah, I just don't see the future of him here.

He's like a younger PJ Tucker but with less BBIQ. Useful player, but feels like he wants a bigger role and more money, if he didn't want that I'd be cool with keeping him, but can't be mad at a man for having ambitions.

It's clear to me though that Bari was definitely the safer bet out of the two.

Tari and Sengun and picks for Giannis and AJ Green. Lets get it done this offseason. Otherwise we will just be OKC and Spur b****es for next 5 years.
Tari is great individual defender but not great team defender especially against system offenses. Also he gets lost if we run any type of motion offense. Just avg IQ 3 and D guy like Ariza, Crowder, O'neal.

In this scenario we are still the Spurs/Thunder b****es for the next few years. Giannis is also a flawed player that relies on his athleticism to get to the basket. He's had a lot of injury issues over the past few years and he is only getting older. I'm not of the mindset of do something for the sake of doing something. Giannis doesn't necessarily have an impressive playoff resume either and even though he has won a championship, his teams have hardly ever been competitive over the years to actually get to the conference finals or finals. He's only advance to the conference finals one other time in his career, has gotten eliminated twice in the 2nd round, and has been eliminated 6-7 times in the first round.

    My guess:

She's not happy with his boy's performance. He plays like a 5'1 kid rather than a 6'8 NBA player. "Africa" probably is an allusion of some racist stuff?

The other day, Jaylen Brown told reporters that he is the best human 2 way player and Wemby does not qualify as human, he is E.T.

Teroya Eason might imply the same thing, Tari did his best but was outmatched by a far superior superhuman being........but against all negative comments her solution is that her baby has to keep trying instead of giving up.....going against Wemby the Wall.

(The last part I took from her conversation with Roosh Williams where Roosh criticized Tari aggressively for laying it up with Wemby in front of him)

Tari works when he is a bench player that can have his minutes reduced when he is not playing well. He's not consistent enough to be a starter

Yup. The Giannis thing is the fanbase flailing around for some easy answer after realizing what the obvious outcome is with us vs. OKC/SAS/DEN.

People instinctively feel like it's only fair that there must be a solution, and Giannis is out there, therefore Giannis must be the solution.

He isn't. A team of post-prime Giannis/decrepit KD/Amen would get smoked by OKC/SAS/DEN next season (if Giannis/KD are even healthy, which is a 50/50 proposition), and the gap will only widen after that while Giannis and KD decay and OKC/SAS get better. Meanwhile we'd have given up our assets to build the next real Rockets contender for the privilege of getting crushed.

    Promise Momster?

She is an annoying distraction and her son is playing like crap.

We won't win three games in a row until March 23 so it will be a nice break from her.

People want a quick and easy solution to compete right now, but it's not out there. Giannis is a talent upgrade but can't even drag the Bucks to a winning record in the East. He wouldn't close the gap between us and OKC/SAS. SGA is 27 and Wemby is 22. Giannis and KD are 31 and 36 respectively. Trading for him is neither a win now nor win later solution.

I really hate the idea of trading more young players, even with as flawed as Sengun is, for another aging superstar.

And we know how players who rely on athleticism have shorter primes, we experienced this already TWICE now, one getting Russ just as he was leaving his prime and then Dwight...

Yeah, I'd rather roll with Sengun than Giannis because I don't think that team does it either. We'd still have the same issues as a team, not enough shooting, not enough spacing. We'd be better defensively for sure though if you could convince Giannis to play center maybe it would work...maybe...still, not up for a Giannis trade. My guess is we've seen the best of Giannis.

KD is 37 and turns 38 this offseason. Otherwise you are correct.
