Pretty straight forward. Do you believe this statement to be True or False (based on your projection of what WILL HAPPEN in tonight's lottery):

No player drafted in the '22 lottery has averaged more APG in the NCAA than Banchero.

I personally believe so, and the fact he's the size of an avg NBA center...makes it seem like it shouldn't be (true).

We'll obviously find out if this statement is true or false later tonight. Just want to see what you think it will be (ahead of time).

I have no idea and I said false but I feel I'm wrong

Edit: Looks like it depends on if Jalen Williams is drafted in the lotto

True, because even if it is false you always have alternative facts to back you up.

People are really overlooking Banchero. I keep trying to figure out why and I just can't come up with good reasoning. The other 2 top prospects have so many unique qualities to their game but paolo is just by far the most well rounded NBA superstar candidate. Watch this kid move, dribble, pass. Watch his feet and his fluidity.

These are areas where he trumps the vast majority of NBA bigs and jumbo wings right now.

Its true! Although Ivey is only 0.1 off his pace. (also depending on how wild the lottery ends up tonight)

The draft hasn't happened yet so this poll is based on projections?

Well 6'8 Dyson Daniels is projected to be top 10 pick and he averaged 4.4 AST.

But just be more inclusive and word it factually, is there any player in NCAA who averaged more assists than Banchero.

And the answer is a resounding YES.

Paolo only averaged 3.2 AST, not elite at all.

6'9 Trevion Williams averaged 3.0 AST.

6'7 Dalen Terry averaged 3.9 AST.

6'6 David Roddy (260 lbs) averaged 3.0 AST.

6'11 Orlando Robinson averaged 2.9 AST.

6'4 Jaden Ivey averaged 3.1 AST.

6'4 Tyty Washington averaged 3.9 AST.

Just poor year for playmakers in lottery. Pure PG are just not as valued as scoring combo guards or multi tooled bigs.

Yeah, the OP is confusing, even nonsensical. Have the draft and then make a thread like this one (if you insist!). Why on earth would you do it ahead of what we're all waiting for? You know, the draft.

It is based on your projections. Do you believe there will be a player drafted in tonight's LOTTERY who has averaged more assists per game in the NCAA than Banchero? Probably should have worded it this way but I was restricted w/ the thread title length.

Why would I ask your projections AFTER the draft?

Why would you make this thread before the draft? Rinse and repeat.

Nowhere does it say projections and why would you make it before the draft when nobody knows how the lottery actually plays out

I think Dalen Terry or Jalen Williams slide into the back of the lottery making this false. The OP didn't specify career or a season so assuming either one would make it false.

it clearly is a projection when the event in question hasn't happened yet. It is based on your belief if the above statement is true or false. clearly nobody knows, hence the keywords "do you believe"

I specified APG. Agree that JW can sneak in making this statement false. Maybe even TyTy

    Dyson Daniels averaged 4.4 AST.

    Banchero averaged 3.2.

    Now what?

Banchero is a good passer/creator at the forward spot and very good for his size.

Having said that, I don't want my PF being my primary ball handler or passer, but it is still a valuable skill that he has and will make him a better player. He will likely be a secondary creator in the same way that Jeff Green can be or Blake Griffin.

Ths thread is a logic trick.

It seems the answer MUST be false since no players have been drafted yet
However, of the no players drafted, there are none with more APG in the NCAA than Banchero

    This is tough.

I went false since I think that is the first condition which needs to be satisfied.
