Tesla stock falls on Elon Musk drug use report https://finance.yahoo.com/video/tesla-stock-falls-elon-musk-211054803.html
lol. The drug talk was yesterday and it "only" fell 3%'ish. Lots of fun details involving board members and Larry Ellison trying to get him to go to rehab and Elon trying to get board members to do drugs. Crazy stuff. At least it explains a lot of tweets. LOL.
TSLA sucks because it's overpriced. QUICK, let's manufacture a WILD reason to dump it so people DARE NOT question the actual business. Grow up
Just in case there was any confusion, I did not mean YOU grow up. I meant THEM (Elon suckybois that EAT the lies like Scott Weiland)
Cathie Woods is a HERO. ARK funds are saving the economy much like Noah's Arc saved all of life (if you believe in fairy tales). Erasing money is CRITICAL to counteract the never-ending printing of it.
Anybody chomping at the bit waiting on Nvidia earnings results for Q4 2023? I bought tens of shares on the NVDA dip today not for any immediate results but for a long play based on the potential for future earnings in AI (and the forward P/E). If NVDA sinks based on the earnings results, then I'll probably buy some more. But, today's dip...I had to up my stake. I'm thinking about where it will be in 3 - 5 years minimum. Last time I bought NVDA specifically was in 2017 and I bought 15 shares that split to 45 shares on a 3-to-1 since. It was originally around a $2800 (cost basis) investment. Worth today....around $30k for a 1,033% gain. Not too bad at all.
In the short term, there seems like there may be some supply side issues producing these chips. The Taiwanese are apparently building another factory to increase supply. I think they were talking about next year. They are ramping up to meet expected demand. The supply issue seems to be potentially the main culprit in dictating how the stock performs. The demand appears to be great for all the data centers they are talking about. Also, big question is whether these newer chips will be sold to China given the technology clampdown. I think the stock is going to be a win for years to come with some speed bumps along the way. Obviously, if anyone owns a S&P 500 fund/ETF, then you own Nvidia as well. I think it's like around 4% of the holdings in my fund.

I was just thinking that if Nvidia has its chip factories in Taiwan...then what's going to happen to their stock when China invades Taiwan? lol
When someone like me does not hesitate to drop $1000 on an NVDA GPU and the competition is a few years away from catching up, you have to think it’ll be a few more windfall years for them.
Japan's Nikkei average surpasses all-time high recorded in 1989 https://asia.nikkei.com/Business/Ma...rage-surpasses-all-time-high-recorded-in-1989 ______ Wut... Am I missing something? 35 years is a long time -- I didn't realize they still hadn't found the lost decades.
