I think the Texans helped themselves out alot this offseason. I say 8-8, that's realistic. The last 2 expansion teams went to their respective conference championships in their second seasons did they not? David Carr is gonna make a bigger name for himself nationally besides just having the sack record, he's too good not to do damn good.

Our schedule is very difficult. 6 wins would be very impressive.

if we had the same schedule as last year, i think i could say 7 wins or so....but given the schedule for this year...i'm guessing 5 wins.

i'm really not trying to be pessimistic! i'm a HUGE texan fan! i really hope they surprise me....and in the NFL, that's VERY possible.

I think 6 wins is not entirely unrealistic, but I would not be terribly upset if they didn't win any more than they did last season. All I really look for is improvement of the key players.

Without a legal battle, Clarett will not be able to come out next year. I believe he'll be a true sophomore this season.

Yeah I would. Clarett really does not blow me away like Gore. I see Gore being another version of Marshall Faulk.

The Texans have the makings of a great 1-2 recieving punch with Johnson, and Jaffney, but I'm not sold on Carr. Coming out I liked Harrington alot more and felt he would become the better pro. Both proved they could take a beating but they didin't really distinguish themeselves from one another. I still like Harrington over Carr, but Carr has the potential to be a good one.

I wouldnt hesitate for a second anymore. Carr over Harrington without a doubt.

Carr is already a good one. He has the potential to be a great one, which I believe he will be, based on his hard work and dedication.

And Harrington dosen't possess those same characteristics?

BTW, my bad on the misspelling of Gaffney. I goofed. Bradford ain't a bad #3 either.
