He may have pulled the biggest B*** move in the history of Pro-Sports. That said, we all know we'd kill to have him on our squad... Discussion begins here....
What was the context of the statement? He won't be here because there's ZERO chance Golden State would help trade him here, no matter what we offered, so where would he be looking to go? Back to OKC to salvage his rep? Durant for Paul George trade? OR...and this is scary...he and Lebron have seemingly become close. Is he looking to team up with Lebron somewhere? (like the Lakers)
I struggle to believe it, but Stephen A Smith did call the Heat team up well in advance. I'll always give him credit for that.
He's not going anywhere. He's looking ahead at this point, life after basketball. He's become a big investor in the whole Silicon Valley scene. He's not jumping ship. He aspires to own a team one day, he's got to start building up his net worth now while he has the big checks coming in.
Only way I can think of is GSW refused to sign him to the max and he wants a max deal. Klays contract is coming up in 2019 and he sure will be eying for a max contract. Would GSW willing to pay curry, Klay, KD and near max green?
If the Warriors are hesitating to pay him a full max he could jump to the Lakers, probably with a second star and have all the same opportunities.
Quick question, why wouldn't we be able to sign KD? Wouldn't it work if we let CP3 walk and 1 +1 with KD instead?
