    I don't get why the Celtics are breaking up, heck they were just in the finals! :confused:

    I know they aren't getting any younger, but I would think they had a few more contending years ahead of them, especiall with LeBron (probably) leaving the Cavs.

    They aren't breaking up the Celtics. Ray Allen is the only one likely to leave the Celtics IMO apart from the bench mob of course.

    I don't think Pierce will leave. He's too reliable to Boston.

    That's not a bad scenario. This is probably what he's planing on. Such a deal would secure him another $31M.

    He'll be 33 when next season starts. I think it would be crazy to give him a max extension.

    at this stage of his career he doesnt need money he needs to win. hes not finding that in boston anymore. so what he is thinking is:


    "damn man i need to win i dont need no more money."
