    Barely.

And depending on who you believe, the Broncos may have been willing to match our final offer but Brock wouldn't take their call.

Yeah, it was never clear. I think the total dollars may have been similar but the guaranteed money much less

We offered more because Brock and his team cut off the negotiations. He decided he wanted to be a Texan.

The Bench Brock crowd is like Trump supporters, so silly and irrational hat their vote should just be taken away from them altogether.

this thread still isn't as epic as this year's summer league thread.

I didn't say bench Brock. I am saying it should be QB competition.

Well it depends. If the Texans think Brock has a higher upside then not necessarily.

But the contract means there won't be any competition anyway

    My bad.

The thread says "Start Tom Savage" and I thought, "This should be funny!", so I read one line, and that line basically said that Savage should be starting, so I assumed it was a thread meaning we should bench Brock.

Serious question is why Savage was put on IR last year.

    The injury wasn't season ending.

That was one of the dumbest moves the franchise has made, in my opinion.

The thread title is "Start Tom Savage". By definition, it would mean Brock is on the bench if someone other than him is starting.

Well the answer to that is BOB is almost as big a Hoyer fan as you are so he didn't see a need to carry 3 QB's. Sure it was foolish but love is blind.

    Proud of Savage

He said last at the end of last season he would be coming back strong and aimming to be starter, regardless of who we brought in

All signs indicates he was a man of his words

Hopefully money won't be indictive of who gets to be starter

I've been in Tom Savages corner for awhile. I wasn't surprised at how he performed Saturday night.

As for Osweiller, I am hoping that he can shake of the first game jitters and play up to his contract
. Two or threee games into the season if he is still playiing at a lower level, then we will have a Qb controversy on hand.

This thread has as much cred as a thread titled "put Braxton Miller in at QB! "
