I may be late in saying this, but I agree that it is interesting to check in every once in awhile to see how badly some players are shooting. Their repetition on the list can show many things about their style of game and effectiveness. And, I don't see why some resort to using the after every post. If you don't like it, don't read it and move on. It's simple as that. If it were going to be closed, it most likely would've been a long time ago - your posts of the simple are nothing more than a hindrance (and a clog) to the board and the thread. If DREAMer wants to post stats, more power to him. It's his right to do so and like I said above and like others have said in the past, just ignore the thread if you don't like it and don't care for it. It appears as though it's going nowhere, and I for one am glad for that.
I also enjoy checking the thread and glancing at repeat offenders. Those who complain about the thread are being childish and immature to the extreme. What's even worse is those who post nothing more than every post. Yeah, that'll earn respect. Nothing like not ever actually posting a word to win prestige on the board. You do have supporters DREAMer. Please continue until you just don't have time or lose interest.
Can't believe Marbury only took 15 shots....I thought that the worse he shot the more he shot. Oh yeah...obligitory facial expression: ......although I don't understand why people would want to "pad" their posts. Do you get a free bowl of soup or somthing?
Well, well, well....what do we have here? Can you say Olajuwon was 0-7 tonight? The bad thing is that he only played 15 minutes. It probably would have gotten worse if he had played longer. So, it looks like he finally cracks the list. I will give him credit....it took him long enough to make it. I thought that he would have made it a long time ago.
Hakeem's first five shots consisted of a block by Camby, a block by Camby, an airball, a missed 4 foot jump hook, and another block by Kurt Thomas. I was embarrassed for him.
I've enjoyed this thread more of late... I don't like the reason why it was created... but it's interesting in and of itself.
Joe Smith: 3 - 11 (.273) {3} Terrell Brandon: 3 - 11 (.273) {2} Vince Carter: 6 - 23 (.261) {6} Desmond Mason: 1 - 7 (.143) {3} Othella Harrington: 1 - 7 (.143) {1} Bryon Russell: 1 - 8 (.125) {6} Quentin Richardson: 1 - 8 (.125) {6} Hakeem Olajuwon: 0 - 7 (.000) {1} -------------------- Thanks for any support. The reason I started the thread and the reason I continue it are not one in the same.
I too am enjoying this thread, probably more because of the arguments than the actual stats, but my main question is how many posts does DREAMer have in this thread? How many posts do I have in this thread? Not trying to start anything, I'm just curious as to what the post breakdown is in this 174 reply thread...
Vin Baker: 4 - 14 (.286) {1} Mike Miller: 4 - 14 (.286) {5} Andrei Kirilenko: 3 - 11 (.273) {5} Zydrunas Ilgauskas: 3 - 11 (.273) {2} Ray Allen: 4 - 15 (.267) {4} Rodney Buford: 4 - 15 (.267) {5} Steve Francis: 6 - 23 (.261) {4} Eddie Griffin: 2 - 9 (.222) {6} Jarron Collins: 2 - 9 (.222) {1} Jason Kidd: 2 - 11 (.182) {13} Voshon Lenard: 2 - 13 (.154) {4} Hubert Davis: 1 - 11 (.091) {4}
DREAMer out of curiosity, don't you find this list to be extremely damaging to your Olajuwon stance considering Jason Kidd, the possible MVP of the league, has appeared on your list 13 times while the very mediocre and way past his prime Hakeem has been on here 1 time? If that doesn't set off all kinds of alarms and whistles I don't know what would.
