Wait, is St. Arnolds the brewery downtown that lets people drink with tokens or something? I did that a few years back and i think it was lawnmower or something i drank only.

 

Yeah that's the one. Imagine the same place except with literally 12X more people and Tom's Shoes.

 

Don't waste your time, buy a 6er of Elissa and be done with it. It's their only beer worth a damn. Waiting til Christmas for an average beer will disappoint you

 

Karbach is ****ing gross. Less time coming up with "witty" beer names, more time making digestible beer.

I actually really like Hopadillo? It's better than any Elissa that's for sure.

 

Their beers get very high ratings from tasters for the style, their vienna lager and their wheat ale are particularly good and i've had both and agree.

If you don't like the styles that's fine but they do a very good job in a short amount of time.

So come to find out that Endeavor is actually a re-release of DR #11 (much better than #12). It was news to me and they are selling bottles of it for $5.50 at Foodarama.

 

they should call it banana ale

 

I had some Endeavor a few weeks ago and couldn't finish it. Loved it at first, but by the time I got halfway through that big bottle I was done.

 

I personally can't finish a bottle in a sitting either. Very good but very strong. I'll only open one with a friend.

 

Not the 12's but I got 9's and 10's and some Abita Strawberry Harvest/pumkinator on lock-down...
