I hope the Rockets are somewhere together watching the Spurs - Seattle game tonight. Perhaps one of them will see why the Spurs are scoring so many points, jump up and say, "Whoa. What a novel concept -- passing. It somehow results in open shots. Wow! Maybe we could try that."
Their offense I guess is similar to ours, in the sense that they wait for the double team to pass the ball around. Except for the fact that we don't pass it around... Ideally, without a big man to draw a double team, you would use some motion to get guys open. Unfortunately that won't happen with the Rockets. The Spurs offense is basically a repeat of the Rockets from the Olajuwon days.
