    sportsguy33 just tweeted.....

sportsguy33 CP3 waited too long: had he gone public last month, NYK-NJ-Dal had the cap room/assets to deal. The most realistic matches now: Hou or Bos.

    Trade Possibilities??

Just asked him what we would need to give up, still waiting for a response.

Coincidence that he chooses Boston (his team) and Houston (his buddy's team)?

Simmons has talked about the Rockets trading for Chris Paul for some time. Not a surprise he'd mention us here.

He's right about the other teams trading, signing and giving up their assets already.

Paul really screwed him self into a wall. His value is at an all time low and he decided to throw a hissy fit right after everyone was sign and traded.

Yep, many talks of a "Godfather" trade proposal for Chris Paul:

Obviously, this was written in 12/2009 so some of the pieces will have to change (like the whole T-Mac/Brian Cook bundle).

because he's smart. He knows that we have the most assets and dealing Paul for anything less would be stupid. Simmons may come off as a stuck up Bostonian but he knows what value is.

I would like to give them Brooks, Ariza OR Battier, Jeffries, and some picks.

I don't mind giving them Brooks, Ariza, Battier, and some picks.

    Paul / Lowry
    Martin / Taylor
    Budinger / Patterson
    Scola / Hill
    Yao / Miller / Hayes

If this trade happens, consider bringing back McGrady off the bench.

    Paul
    Martin
    McGrady
    Scola
    Yao

I had to....he would have no excuses about teammates.

I don't think Shinn would want Ariza's contract. If he's looking for a buyer he'll want to reduce as much future player salary as possible. Looking at the rumored Blazers offer they'll be after young assets on rookie deals and expiring contracts.

ahh, not too sure about that. Rondo fits perfectly with Boston. He also hasn't hit his ceiling yet in terms of offensive impact. He's cheaper and locked in for more years.

I mean if all they had to give up is Rondo and some filler then Boston should do it though.

Offensively, yes. But I saw a ton of Rondo this year and he dominated in the playoffs. No need for Boston to make this deal.
