When was the last time that all 5 teams in the same division all made the playoffs and all has a winning record?? It seems like it can happen this year in our division.

I was thinking about this today and could not think of a single time in history that all 5 made it and had a winning record.

As great as it is to be where we are today. The Rockets could lose the next three games and be in sixth place in the West. That is absolutely insane. We are second in the West, but only three games out of sixth place. I can't get my head around that. Keep winning baby, keep winning.

I'd rather be 6th seed and face the Grizzlies (potentially), than be 3rd seed facing the Spurs.

just like the 94-95 Rockets....had to beat 4 50+ teams to win the championship.

Umm no. I'd rather be 2 and face anyone and have that division title.

Meanwhile, there are only two teams in the East with 50 or more wins.

If we just would of beaten Suns or the Raptors

It would be a lot easier now.

I too was looking at this today, seeing that 4 out of 5 teams in our division could have 50+ wins. I wonder if that's ever been done before...

What's crazy is that, if the 2nd or 3rd seed in the west this year wins the title, they would have had to beat 4 50+ win teams as well.

I mean, when the 6th seed in a conference is going to be in the mid 50's for wins, that is insane.

FWIW: The Southwest division didn't exist until 2004-05 season.

The NBA had four divisions before that year, with 7 to 8 teams per division. The 6 division format is pretty new.
