Nichols: So you're back in practice today. I assume you're going back tomorrow. Butler: I am. Then practice got immediately cancelled. LMAO.
I posted a podcast on here yesterday with the guy who was actually at the practice, and he reported that Butler planned on making an even bigger scene the next day and had made that well known.
I wonder what bigger scene he could possibly make happen. Maybe he could sneak in a phone and film it? Cause KAT to cry? Start a fire in the practice facility?
Only in the NBA can a dude demand a trade... skip media day... show up for practice and blast his teammates and employer... and get the next day of work cancelled... and go on television and brag about it... and not get punished. Crazy.
That's what I was thinking yesterday as people were bringing up Spreewell. What could he realistically do that wasn't actually a crime lol. Maybe something like grabbing all of the basketballs and throwing them into the bleachers or something haha.
I never noticed in this GIF that the guy hits his feet on the bottom ledge, causing his body to pivot instead of going cleanly straight through the glass. I guess they only wanted to do one take
Butler: It's accurate. But it's not about money. It's not. Nichols: So tell me what it's about. Butler: It's about saying we need you. We want you here. We can't do this without you. Cringeworthy and absolutely bullcrap. They offered him an extension and a renegotiation and extension. If that doesn't mean they want him there then I don't know what is.
Blame their wolves PR team. They suck. They should at the very least have some reporters give the other side of the story. As far I know it's not even like Butler's agent is some kind of bigshot that controls all the media..
He's a head case, he wants to be top paid and have his dick sucked as "the guy" or he wants to blow the whole thing up. Honestly I want nothing to do with him, I wish him well in Miami.
Wow... Butler coming out with a can of gasoline and pouring it around the perimeter of the court would be a total alpha move.
Prediction: By the end of today, Butler will likely no longer be a T-Pup, and he definitely won't be 24 hours from now. My source: I ain't got no source on this, but Minny has to do something fast so they can resume having a team and a season.
I mean, he will probably get the max anywhere he goes, so in that sense it can "not be about the money" because the money is already secured. It probably is more about KAT and Wiggins not being enough to get it done and not serious about winning.
He’s on a pre-Salary Cap Jump contract being paid $20m. An extension to that is limited to standard small raises, so is an insult and only benefits the owner. I don’t know who said they offered a renegotiation, but Minny can’t do that. You must be under the cap to do Renegotiations and fit all the raise under the cap...renegotiations don’t allow teams to use exceptions, so you can’t circumvent the Cap that way.
