    "Big Log" Robert Plant

I was about fifteen when the song came out and didn't like it. Ah, the foolishness of youth. Really good tune.

Zero mentions, maybe because the majority of posters in this thread are a little on the white side? Maybe.

These songs were being released as I was entering or in my teens. Ah, the memories.

Someone should make a thread titled, "Songs in which they say the title too ****ing much." But that would be too easy: any one of Beyoncé's hits ("Halo HALO Halo HALo Halo HALO"), etc.

No mention -- seems R&B has the fewest occurances

    No doubt.

I admit, on newer songs, I’m less of the expert in any genre—rock (does it still exist?), country, R&B, pop.

Mary J. Blige and Sade, yes please.

Not familiar with Mary J. Blige, but Sade can get it.

The only way I find out about newish music is by listening to my favorite local station...Sun Radio out of Austin...or a trusted friend tells me about them

LOL How old do you think Buck is?

Figured he sat/slept on his covered porch all day with his trusty hound named rebel and his 12 gauge listening to Lawrence Welk or waiting for his friend named greasy spoon to reach out to him via ham radio.

Oh hey, kids. Another post by Jonathan about Pink Floyd; even though he is so open to new music. Can't wait to see the 17 radiohead songs he posts... But hey! He's totally into music and has been since his mom bought him a CD player in 2003...

That sounds about right. Also he grew up in a time when sandals were illegal.
