Some Warriors aren’t buying that Harden’s eye is “extremely hurt”

They just don’t like his game. Everyone has to hate on something. They can’t say he’s talented and a smart ball player, it’s that he “cheats” or “bends the rules”. I wish he would quit with the overreactions sometimes. Lots of players flop, but he’s already got the haters on his case, so that just fuels them. People just don’t like his style, and that immediately leads to hate. Most of the media and fans of the nba probably love that we are down 2-0. Sucks, but that’s why then rockets need to get it together and prove these fools wrong

 

I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone take so much punishment and have people question the contact.

People were saying Harden flopped after Artest literally sent shock waves through his cranium in 2012.

Many people think he tries to garner sympathy instead of going the "**** it, I'm going to **** on you!" route. They don't believe he's a bad person. They just think he's soft.

All warriors injuries are so hyped they seem like pre-fabricated excuses.

Meanwhile, Harden has literal blood on his towel and sits out a whole freaking quarter (which we all know Harden would never allow so it must have been serious). He comes back with a bloodshot eye. Warriors saying “nah it ain’t serious”

Just win the game. Pure fans know frustration doesn't always help.

Whether its Pat Beverley last week or Harden's gouged out bloody corneas- there is nothing too small for them to have to snipe at.

Part of it is just our dumb social media/narrative culture in which they cant just be content to rig the playing field and win a title, they have to diminish others along the way. Because that's what people talk about - viral moments like Harden's bleeding corneas.

I'll just say that the Warrior players that think he is faking it have never hurt their eyes before. I have got varying degrees of fingers to the eye, and let me tell you that it can be debilitating for days. We just need to win and shut them up.
