Lmao beautiful garbage take. The average "minimum wage" in Norway is around 20+ USD. Nordic countries are highly unionized, the unions make agreements for salary ranges with the work sectors.

Bernie literally has said hundreds of times he wants a Nordic system. Name me one person who's saying they want a Venezuelan system, please.

Well, the German social democratic party (SPD) just demanded a minimum wage of $ 13.60. The one thing these guys never think about or understand is how an economy works and that that money has to come from somewhere. Their only answer (always) is "raise taxes".

Glynch is a huge Bernie fan, who wants what Bernie wants, correct?

Bernie wants a Nordic government and economic system.

Now is democratic socialism the right term? Technically, no, what he's describing is a social democracy. Why the label has been confused and mixed up? I don't know, but it doesn't matter too much, political terms change rapidly and it's a futile game to try to hold every term to it's original meaning.

What's important, is what does Bernie stand for, what is he proposing? It's NOT Venezuela, it's a Nordic system.

I don't follow this forum or individual people closely so I'm not sure what exactly Glynch is advocating for (but I have a feeling, he's not crazy for Chavez or Maduro), I see his avatar is Bernie and that he's always been pro Bernie. I know what Bernie stands for, and it's not Venezuela or Cuba.... if you click that video I posted he says exactly that.

If I'm wrong, and Glynch does want 100% full on socialism, he wants a system like Venezuela and Cuba, he's for authoritarianism and dictatorship, then I apologize for misrepresenting him, as I strongly disagree with that stance.

There are many more posts in which glynch supports Chavez and Maduro and advocates for hardcore socialist dictatorships.

Obama's mistake was to try to unite dems and reps. In fact, he appointed several Republicans to work on his administration, to the dismay of many democrats.

Obama was anything but a divider.

That post was made in 2014, was Maduro known to be as bad 5 years ago? I haven't followed Venezuela as closely as I should (I have family there), I know it's been ****ed for decades, but Maduro was democratically elected meaning the people had to have some qualities they liked about him when they first elected him.

As I said, I don't follow people closely nor the D&D in general (thank god). So if I misrepresented him, my bad.

I'm for social democracy, so is Bernie (despite the technical misuse of his term of democratic socialism) . I stand by my statement that Realjad's post was garbage, as he's trying to equivocate Bernie to a Venezuela system.
