Week 14, I think we have a good idea of who's playing at that level and who in the league isn't. Maybe a road bump against Carolina, but the rest of the season is almost state padding. Barwin's top 10 in sacks, Watt is probably up there in batted passes and a maybe a droy candidate. Chris Myers hadn't allowed a sack through 12 (maybe 13) weeks, and Foster being Foster. Who gets the nod? Who's underrated? Who gets snubbed? Probably Foster because of rice, mjd, and mcgahee getting spotlight ricochet off Tebow. Its just Tuesday and it already feels like I've waited forever for Sunday to come.
I'd guess Foster, Barwin, Cushing, Joseph are probably locks. Myers, Watt and Antonio Smith could get in, too.
No one will go to a pro bowl this year because we are going to the Superbowl!! Pro bowl is the week before Superbowl this year.
Someone from the OLine should get in. Cushing Joseph Possibly Foster. Players like Antonio Smith have no shot.
cush joseph foster i think Brown, Myers and Winston should make it (I think they are forcing RT to be included rather than just all LT)
^ forgot about OD but it might be hard with the NE TEs and then Gates getting the name recognition vote... even though OD has more yards
Don't know if it's still the case but a couple of weeks ago it was reported that Duane Brown was only one of 2 LT who hadn't given up a sack.
Cush, Joseph, and Barwin are locks. Foster will probably make it. An Olineman should get a nod, probably Brown and/or Winston. OD could possibly sneak in behind Gronkowski (spelling?) but as someone said before, Gates has the bigger name, and Dreessen has been stealing all his TDs. Ninja and Watt have had amazing seasons, but they just don't have the numbers that the better 4-3 ends have. Any 3-4 end will be at a disadvantage in pro-bowl voting. AJ, Schaub, and Mario were having probowl seasons before their injuries.
I agree with this, and I'd add Myers. Brown is the least likely of those to go, though. He just doesn't get the credit he deserves.
Barwin's #4 in the AFC for sacks, so that's one. Joseph absolutely should. Cushing's a possible snub - a lot of really good LBs in the AFC with gaudy numbers, and they'll only put so many guys from one team. Watt really deserves it, but it's tougher for a 3-4 end to get the nod over a 4-3 end. Dirty work without the numbers to turn heads. Duane Brown should get a nod, but they may opt for Winston because he's more of a media darling. Foster may have to squeak through - Jones-Drew and Rice are going to be in front of him. Tate may even get a couple of votes.
