Assuming we don't make another deal, we have an open roster spot by sending 4 players out (Patterson, Aldrich, Douglas, Morris) and getting back 3 (Robinson, Honeycutt and Garcia). Any suggestions on who to use it to sign? We lost our 3rd string center in Aldrich so possibly a Whiteside call-up?
Haddadi please? Maybe its just me but I think he's still an upgrade from Aldrich, plus he can't play for the team he was traded to.

I'm willing to bet we are going to just trade a top 59 protected second rounder for a better pick + expiring contract + cash, so a team doesn't have to pay luxury tax.
Anyone claiming we should fill the open roster spot with Whiteside should consider deleting their account. You clearly dont watch RGV games, you have no idea what is going, and you are being overly speculative. Go home Goldman Sachs
Just did a quick calculation: Total salary out $8.5M, Total salary incoming $10.3M. Taking the difference away from the existing cap space ($6.9M) and you still have $5.167M or so in cap space left. Just about enough to take on Rip Hamilton with that open roster spot.
