72 WPM. Only 54% accuracy. I definitely make a lot of mistakes as I type. I think I spend a good quarter of the time hitting the backspace button. Thanks for the link. I was just wondering about how many WPM I type these days. Evidently, I haven't improved much over the years.

actually i was born in New Orleans and raised in Houston, but after 12 years of grade school and 4 years of college, learning to speak and type proper english has weeded out my good ole' southern drawl...
lol! I hear ya! I've lived in Texas since I was 4 (28 years) and haven't really picked up the southern twang. People from out of state that talk to me are disappointed I don't have the twang and don't own a horse.

That's not much of a test of typing skills. You're transcribing something that's already been typed. 99 percent of what I ever type comes out of my melon-shaped head.
