Beverley has never been a pg. listing him a pg is just out of formality. he's merely a combo guard in this era of the league. always has been. he isn't running any team's offense, nor is he going to be a team's primary playmaker
not necessarily. they had teodosic and rivers as primary ball handlers. again just a formality what he's listed as. he's a combo guard in reality
LMAO. I want to go to the Clippers to show the world what I can do. What I can do is ride the pine without James Harden. Lollllllll
If LA gets AD I could see him signing with the Lakers this offseason. He’ll play a similar role as he did in houston. PG in name but really a 3&D guy which I do think in that role he’s still very good. Clippers really showed what kind of player he is. He’s only a starter level guy if he’s playing next to James Harden or Lebron James. He’d be good next to Luke Doncic now that I think about maybe Dallas goes after him. Bev is still a nice role player imo he just needs to play with superstar playmakers. He’ll get a 3/15m a year contract imo. He hurt his value with his play this season.
Patrick Beverley Discusses Playing With Luka Doncic, Will 'Have Fun' With Free Agency Patrick Beverley discussed the potential of playing alongside Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks ahead of his upcoming free agency. Beverley and Doncic communicated with each other on Twitter last week. "Of course. He’s ball dominant, makes the right plays. If that does come, it would be me, Luka, Tim Hardaway Jr., (Kristaps) Porzingis, Courtney Lee. It’s tough when you actually think about it. But I’m going to have fun with free agency man. I work hard. I’m gonna enjoy this process," said Beverley when asked if he could imagine himself on the Mavs next season.
His commentary about working hard tells me he's going for the most money where his skill would be recognized (basically a place where he'll start). I don't think he'll take less to win. Would you agree?
Really feels like Beverley is going to the Bulls. Hometown, they have the space and fits with their coach.
Good for him. He had a rough life and career. Earned every penny with his toughness, work ethic and passion. He deserves it. And I would be happy for him if he signs a long term contract.
