BBSers, I just recently completed an MS in Construction Management from the University of Houston, and I am wanting to continue with another MS, this time in Civil Engineering. My background has been industrial and commercial construction for the last 8-10 years, and I am wanting to go more into Project Management for the current company I am with. I am set to take the PMP examination this coming summer, and just recently completed the AC certification this past fall. I have discovered this program, and they offer a high level MS in Civil Engineering. Has anyone taken courses in this program or know someone who has? I appreciate the input! CW
Not going to Dallas...thank the LORD. This is a distance education program which will keep me safe and sound within the great city of Houston!
I know very few people from the engineering school. So far, I've heard nothing but positive stuff about Lyle. SMU usually places people well in the Texas job market. I ended up in the Business School so I don't know how much of a help I could be but you can't go wrong with SMU.
