Watching this clip it seems like they are working on 2 for 1's at the end of the game. And the 5 people they have on the court are Beverly, Harden, Parsons, Jones and Howard. Is this foreshadowing?

Had Beverley and Jones playing with the starters this practice

 

It could very well be. I think Lin and McHale are still not getting along, and with Beverley's play inthe playoofs, and his play against the Pelicans the momentum would to move Beverly up and try him out at the starting position. We will see.

 

Certainly looks that way.

 

I think MORE IMPORTANTLY, Les and Morey and more high on JLin than they are on Bev. If McHale does start Bev over Lin or gives Bev too many minutes without Lin getting his minutes, he may end up on his way out the door like Adelman.

JLin is on the billboards and helping to pay for all these salaries, not Bev. Not to mention he is the better overall player clearly IMHO.

Of course this may only be McHale trying different lineups in practice to get a feel for the new team, especially since everyone isn't healthy completely.

 

Mchale isn't getting fired over Jlin, Mc is a big reason why D12 is coming here.

I'm not saying I want McHale fired....I don't. But I don't think that it was McHale that tipped the scales to make DH12 choose Htown. I think the team, Les, Morey and Hakeem probably would rank above McHale, imho.

Again, I don't want McHale to leave, but if the Rockets choose to do that one day and perhaps brought in the Van Gundy brothers, I very seriously doubt that would affect DH12's attitude except in a positive way. Either way, DH12 is signed for a number of years regardless.
