For some reason this is pissing me off. They literally had Morey 2.0 in Hinkie, but than didn't have the courage to stick with him when media and fan attention turned negative. Then they turn and hire the most average GM possible in Colagnelo, who turned out to be an untalented narcissist. Selling out an approach before it finishes in the face of popular narratives is pretty much the antithesis to analytical approaches. You can't hire Hinkie, who clearly has a revolutionary mind and is going to veer away from what the rest of the league is doing, then get cold feet when the narrative doesn't go your way. Get outta here Philly
