Basketball and the Houston Rockets and his view of what will transpire in the future. He also likes his position within the company and is saying things that will allow him to keep it. I'm sure that Clyde would apologize for not working in clubbing baby seals but he took this interview seriously. He seems to do that when things aren't going well. That's what made him a winner during his career. I'm sorry he made sense this time, I bet it was a shock to your system.

Also, tinman, what is existant? The dictionary doesn't seem to know.

Most of what Clyde has said in these past couple of days has been mostly truthful including Mike D'Antoni's team's defense being non existent. They're all really bad defensive teams other than like one year where they were passable.

05 Suns won 62 games his first year, but were 17th in drtg while 1st in offensive rating. They lost to the Spurs which were the best defensive club in the league while also being a top 10 offensive team.

The next season they were ranked 16th in drtg. Mike was learning, and the 3rd season they were finally a top 13 defensive team while remaining the best offensive team. We all know what happened that series with the Spurs though.

The 08 season they regressed back to 16th in drtg and lost yet again to the better defensive team Spurs which would become d'antoni's last season with phoenix.

Afterwards all his stops in new York were metmet with poor defensive clubs excluding his last year with New York. His last season had the Knicks as the 5th best defensive club anchored by Tyson Chandler. But he also resigned mid season. It also helped it was a 66 game season.

Clyde may be a horrendous commentator but he knows the game extremely well. He is speaking truth here.
