Singing his praises (too much?)

You must be sitting in the one section of the arena that is annoyed by the song. As a seasonticketholder and frequent attendee, everytime I'm there the crowd generally loves the song. Even those who aren't enthralled tend to find it humorous that everyone else sings along/enjoys it so much.

 

You don't have to like the song because I live, er, post here. In fact there are a bunch of people that don't like my stuff. It's impossible to please everyone so Kev and I just do what we do.

I have observed the crowd 'geting into it' when the song plays. I think that is cool. It's a personal touch to the other canned stuff that they play. Some games I agree it is played too much. Others I wonder why they don't push the button more.

The Rockets are finding the right balance and judging by the crowd response they are doing a fine job.

 

I personally like the song. It has a rhyme to it..kinda like when ShaQ was at Orlando. Everytime he scored, the announcers would say his name with a lag to it...

it went something like ..

SHAQUILLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
ONEALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

it would last like 6 seconds.....
