Trade cam and amen and tari. They will never start on this team, for the betterment of their careers and Brand or any chance at Roy they need to start. That will never happen here because the rockets are not going to have a 40 million player sit on bench. They did it with wall and after wall left he talked smack about the rockets and how he was forced to sit unfairly.

Trade the young players so they can develop somewhere else. They won't develop here.

We’ll see just how stupid udoka is if he starts brooks after mid season. The fact that he wanted him shows you he’s a moron, but how big of one is still undecided

Trade them first and then trade Van Vleet and Brooks for them.

We are right there where we started.

Brooks has come off the bench once in the last 4 years (after returning from injury). This on a team that developed young players, won divisional titles, and improved each year.
I see him being a positive to the development of our young guys.

You have the concept right, but the names wrong.

The guys we should trade are Christopher and Washington. The addition of Brooks and VanVleet means we won't have time to play all the young guys, so we should trade those 2. There is plenty of playing time for all of Cam Amen and Tari

It would be great if we were able to trade TyTy and Josh for a backup C, a vet big with championship experience, and a 3rd string PG who can shoot.

Every day I think I've seen the worst thread in history, but there's always a thread worse.

This one will be tough to top.

    WTF

    wow that’s fantastic

TIMING => contract length is the answer 2 years (vets will take most of the playing time) vs 4+ years (2 yrs to grow (vets move on) and then today’s youth takes over most of the playing time).

Brooks’ s pay is perplexing because of the length of time but should be movable in the future if salaries still continue to grow.

Is the offseason over yet? I'm getting dumber each time a franchise player thread or parody is posted for a 20 win team.

Bane, Jaren Jackson and of course the toy gun flash guy were more important than our hero.

God damn dude, because 21 and 20 year olds aren't starting in the NBA doesn't mean they won't be major parts of contributing to winning when they develop and are like 23 years old.
